It is widely known that Lebanon, as well as other countries in the MENA region, face growing challenges in managing natural resources. With the pressing issue of climate change, the way governments and the private sector are approaching water and air pollution, deforestation and energy shortages is changing rapidly.
Accordingly, Berytech sought to explore the opportunities to innovate in this sector, focusing on Cleantech. In the article, innovations stemming from Berytech’s startup community of entrepreneurs are highlighted, in order to devise sustainable, scalable and profitable solutions to combat the issue of natural resource management.
